The class
focuses on the dances from many regions of Greece, as well as
some dances from Turkey and Armenia. The first hour is dedicated
to instruction and review of dances. The second hour is used to
practice new or previously learned dances. We welcome both the
beginner and the more advanced dancer. For the beginner we offer
the fundamentals of Greek dancing and for the experienced Greek
dancer we offer the environment to work on various regional dances.
The goal of the class is to have fun, to learn the fundamentals
and knowledge of the dances and the dance steps. This class will
give anyone the fundamental dance movements to join a Greek dance
line at a Greek wedding, restaurant or festival.
